Over the course of July, partners from all over India gather for Salesforce Days. Salesforce Days is a nine-day program which encourages non-Salesforce consultants to explore Salesforce as a career option, plus enables Salesforce Practitioners in India to skill up. The celebratory close to this year’s Salesforce Days was the 6th Annual Global Technology Innovation Summit in Bangalore. We hosted 200+ partner executives across 40+ partners. The summit is Salesforce India’s event of the year, celebrating a successful run of Salesforce Days while learning, sharing, and networking with other partners and Salesforce execs.

If Salesforce is the game of cricket, partners are the athletes.

It’s incredible to see what happens when our partners come together to celebrate our successes and do something good for the community. We invite you to take a look back at some of these photos, capturing the magic of the event.

Creating all-star athletes for the Salesforce Ecosystem

With the explosion of technology in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the Salesforce Ecosystem is rapidly growing in India. In fact, it’s expected to create 1.1 million jobs in India by 2022. As the demand for expertise in Salesforce rises, we are constantly looking for ways to support our partners’ search for talent. That’s why we recently invited existing and new Developers, Administrators, and Consultants to further their technical skills and grow their careers in the Salesforce Ecosystem. We spent nine amazing days with our partners at their global delivery centers in India, where Accenture, Cognizant, PwC, Wipro/Appirio, TCS, IBM, Infosys, CapGemini, and Tech Mahindra conducted Salesforce Days to increase capacity and build capability. At each of these Salesforce Days, we encouraged non-Salesforce practitioners to signup for Trailhead workshops to learn more about our ecosystem and the tremendous opportunity available. We also engaged current Salesforce practitioners with deep-dive sessions for each of the clouds and a certification drive. Many partners were enthusiastic about integration and the ability to unlock data with Mulesoft during our nine Mulesoft workshops. It was incredible to see firsthand the enthusiasm and excitement from all those who joined us.

During this journey we engaged with 14,000 developers and consultants!

I can’t express how lucky we were to be able to witness this transformation.

A team sport like no other

Imagine you’re on the cricket field, working hard to control the opposition. If you’re the only one fielding, it’s near impossible to win the game. Like in any sport, the individual makes less of a difference than the whole team. To stay consistent with the theme, the focus of Tech Summit was to celebrate all we’ve accomplished together as an ecosystem in India. One of the most valuable aspects of being a part of the Salesforce Ecosystem is the chance to make real-life connections. Consultants, Agencies, and AppExchange (ISV) partners came together for a day of inspiration and celebration.

Learning the rules of the game

There’s a popular saying in cricket:

Good. Better. Best.
Never let it rest until your good is better and your better is best.

At the culmination of Salesforce Days, the Global Partners Tech Innovation Summit offered the opportunity to learn about a range of topics, including investment opportunities, enablement, equality, and business as a platform for change. We heard from Salesforce experts and alliances leaders who shared their vision and emphasized the wealth of business opportunities that the Salesforce platform provides.

Giving Back & Batting On.

As Salesforce founder and CEO, Marc Benioff, says:

“We can do good while doing well. ”

Over Salesforce Days, we partnered with a leading non-profit in India, Akshay Patra, for a back-to-school donation drive to help children who live below the poverty line get ready for the school year. The drive equipped 1,385 children with school supply kits, complete with pencils, notebooks, and more to help them in their learning journey. Some of our Partners even took the initiative a step further by committing to plant a tree for every new member who joined the Salesforce ecosystem over Salesforce Days.

United we play. United we win!

As a community of Salesforce partners, we want to ensure you can connect with each other and stay engaged with Salesforce. Post-event, keep those connections alive, and continue the relationships online and offline by:
