We’re just days away from The Big Show, the National Retail Federation’s biggest event of the year — and the who’s who of the retail world will funnel into the Javits Center in New York City. This event provides a unique opportunity for Salesforce Partners to meet with retail buyers and set yourself up for success in the coming year.

NRF by the numbers:

37,000 industry professionals

16,000 retailers

700+ exhibitors

88% of attendees play a role in purchasing decisions

99 countries

Network Network Network

Network and share knowledge to forge relationships and ultimately grow your business. What’s the ideal way to do this at NRF? Attending events! Look at NRF as an opportunity to network. Yes — even parties can play a crucial role in making your NRF experience a success.

What Salesforce Partners bring to NRF is our unique ability to inspire, educate and give our customers a north star. The breakout sessions and exhibit hall are important aspects to the event, but plan your schedule in advance to ensure the events you're attending will place you in the room with the right people!

A Recipe for Success: Fun, Inspiration, and Tangible Experiences

For inspiration, just go to our booth! Salesforce will be located at Booth #3719 & #1340. Listen to over 40 Salesforce-related theater sessions. And for the tangible? Look, listen, and feel to all the demos we have to see how our products work. Partners will have the opportunity to discover, first hand, concrete examples of how top retail brands are using our products to achieve success for customers.

Familiarize yourself with the Commerce Platform

It is a tough time to be a retailer. Retail customers will look to us to put them at ease with our relevancy and solutions. We need to think about things through their lens and utilize NRF to set the table for those conversations. Just like we need to think about things through the retailer’s point of view, they’re trying to do the same with their customers. Retail has traditionally been about trying to pull the customer to where they are, but now it’s about making sure the brand is wherever the consumers are.

NRF is the perfect time to learn about the Commerce Cloud platform and how it can help achieve customer’s goals and expand their business online. Don’t sit around and hope that your customers and prospects to magically appear at your booth and all the sudden want to talk. My advice to you is to lay the groundwork ahead of time — make calls and setup meetings to ensure you’re set up for success.

Key takeaways:

  • Forging relationships is everything next week
  • Familiarize yourself with the Commerce Cloud Platform
  • Get inspired!

See you at NRF next week!
