It’s a wrap! From releasing 91 new solutions to AppExchange to launching a monthly video series, 2020 was undoubtedly a year of progress for Salesforce Labs. We are so excited to see what 2021 has in store for us, and we have even bigger goals to meet this year!

Meet the Builders
This monthly video series launched in July, and we had four episodes released in 2020- with more incoming! Meet the Builders is a series of short interviews with the creators of stellar Labs solutions, and highlights their inspiration, challenges, and thought process behind their solutions. Salesforce Labs used to keep the identities of our Labs builders a secret, but now we are more excited than ever to highlight them and share their innovation with the world. Learn more about this inspiring series below.
Salesforce Labs kicked off the series with three builders who have brought successful lightning web components to AppExchange. We brought in Paul Lucas from the team that brought Lightning File Explorer, Shreyans Jain, the creator of Video Viewer, and Stephan Garcia, who created both Consent Capture and Lightning Messaging Utility.
We sat down with David Cohen, the builder of Schedul-o-matic 9000, and Ed Sandoval- the creator of Einstein Intent Assessor! Ed discussed his role with the Einstein team and how he decided to bring both his Einstein solutions to life. David spoke of his solution and how it helps developers schedule classes with ease. Episode 3:
Paul Roth and Caio Ono joined us to discuss their work on Lightning Mockup Components and CMS Content Creator. Roth shared with us the initial inspiration for his set of LWCs, while Caio revealed his challenges with setting up CMS Content Type Creator to be used out of the box for users.
Labs Rewind
Learn about all Labs solutions released in a given month in 60 seconds! Labs Rewinds are released at the beginning of every month and look back at all the Labs releases in the previous month. Did you Know: in just three episodes, we already highlighted 19 solutions! Check them out below.
Our first Rewind launched in the fall of 2020 and was bursting at the seams with new solutions! We brought 9 new additions to AppExchange in October alone, from an extension for Work.Com to an Einstein Analytics dashboard for B2B success. Learn more about these solutions by watching the full video.
