The values of a company go beyond words in a corporate deck. When you believe in your values, and every employee believes in your values, magic and major change can happen. For instance, Nordstrom’s core value is Customer Service, and every employee takes a complete, unwavering, uncompromising commitment to creating personalized customer experience. Zappos, Southwest, and Starbucks also focus on Customer Service as a value, delivering “WOW Through Service” (as Zappos puts it) with every customer interaction.
Core values guide employees’ behaviors, decisions, and actions every day. Salesforce has nine core values, and each individual at Salesforce is personally responsible for living them. That’s how they make the vision of the Salesforce Ohana a reality.
While you can reference this helpful Trailhead module to learn about all nine values, I’m going to focus on four Salesforce values that resonate with Cloudsense each and every day. You may leave with some ideas you can take to your company, or begin to implement them yourself.
Trust is Salesforce’s number one value and they claim that it’s fundamental to their success. “We are serious about creating and maintaining trusted connections with our customers, and do whatever it takes to keep their data secure. We communicate transparently with every customer and engage intelligently with our technology to ensure all information is safe and secure.
