Rick Perreault Steps Aside as CEO and Becomes Unbounce’s Executive Chair

2021 has been a big year for Unbounce. We launched our new AI-powered landing page builder, acquired Snazzy.AI (now Smart Copy), and unleashed our conversion intelligence platform to the market. All while welcoming no less than 75 new Unbouncers to the team.

Today we’re excited to announce the next chapter of Unbounce, with Felicia Bochicchio taking over as CEO.

Outgoing CEO and Co-Founder Rick Perreault will continue to stay close to Unbounce by stepping into the role of executive chair of the board. “Felicia made my decision to step down as CEO so much easier because I knew Unbounce already had the perfect leader to pick up the torch,” says Rick.

Last year, upon being diagnosed with cancer, Rick took a leave of absence to receive treatment and recover. Now cancer-free, he decided to promote Felicia to CEO to focus on staying healthy while still maintaining an advisory role at Unbounce. “I’m grateful to have the ability to switch gears and create the space to focus on my family and my health while still being very involved in the business,” he explains.

About Our New CEO: Felicia Bochicchio

Felicia has more than 25 years of experience helping companies scale in high-growth environments. She joined Unbounce as chief revenue officer in June 2018 and was promoted to president in 2020 after we raised our first major round of funding.

During Rick’s leave of absence earlier this year, she stepped in as the most senior decision-maker and primary liaison to the board of directors. During that time, she also led Unbounce to acquire Snazzy AI (now Smart Copy), delivered our Smart Builder solution to market, and onboarded new CFO, Gregory Dos Santos.

As CEO, she will continue to lead Unbounce’s efforts to advance a new market category set to deliver conversion intelligence solutions specifically designed for small and midsize companies. “As always, our goal is to help SMBs optimize their marketing, increase their conversions and grow their businesses in smarter ways that allow them to compete at a level that previously might not have been possible,” says Felicia.
