Hamdi in his WFA situation.

Hello, I’m Hamdi, Mamikos Facility Assistant Lead for Bandung and West Java areas, where this position is within the operational scope of the Mamikos Commercial team.

Q: Why do you choose to become a part of Mamiteam?

Hmmm, choosing to join might not be the right word, the truth is that I wanted to join Mamikos a long time ago because of its very interesting and innovative background. The presence of Mamikos is truly a recent breakthrough that has greatly helped many people, especially with the development of the very large boarding house industry in Indonesia. Mamikos continues to be a practical choice for nomads, especially boarding children (kos tenants). And most importantly this is a local company.

Q: What makes Mamikos different from other companies?

What distinguishes Mamikos from other companies is that it is an authentic local company, and we should be proud!
The ambiance and culture offered are also very good, which is certainly very different from other local startup companies. Here, Javanese customs are very thick because the population of native Javanese employees is quite a lot. From Central Java to East Java, of course, they have different personalities, so even though I am of Sundanese blood, it is certainly very pleasant to work with people with different ethnicities like that.

Q: How are your experiences and feelings so far being a part of Mamikos?

I have been with Mamikos for almost 6 months and the experience has been quite good and very enjoyable, especially with a team that is very solid, proactive, and full of jokes every day. Plus, I feel that my current job fits perfectly with my background, which previously worked in the hospitality world, where this role was very influential in dealing with property/boarding owners, and also very helpful in handling Mamikos customers/tenants.

Q: Tips & tricks for friends who want to join Mamikos to become a FAL team?

And for those of you who want to be part of the FAL team like me, apart from a good academic side, you have to be really good at time management, because otherwise, it will be very influential in your SLA. Oh yes, agility is also mandatory because you have to work very fast and flexible, so for those of you who like mobile work and lots of interaction, it will be very suitable for this position.

You must first understand the essence of this work. This position is needed so that the property/boarding unit that cooperates with Mamikos is maintained and guaranteed as a whole, both in terms of standards, quality as well as the continuity of the relationship between the owner of the property/boarding house and Mamikos itself. And to become a FAL requires expertise in negotiating, interpersonal, and able to solve problems quickly and precisely, and also the most important thing is to be wise in managing time considering the wide operational scope and distance which is quite a big challenge for a FAL.
