Coub Types: 360°

Coub as a format is really versatile. There are so many subcategories, genres, and unique uses for it.
Today we’ll talk about 360° coubs. For a lot of people, sure, these are rather boring. Something or other rotates forever, and that’s that. But for demonstrating 3D modelling (for example), it works likes a dream.

When we were experimenting with how Coub works for this purpose, we tried making a 360° video without having to render any animation. Igor bought some old vinyl, so that we’d have something that rotates at a regular speed, and then we started putting things on top of it. For example, Batman:

360 doesn’t have to be so basic. Here’s an example that utilizes zoom, from the game Dishonored.
