Introducing InsideSherpa LaunchPad - Helping Students Land Your Dream Career

Since launching InsideSherpa’s Virtual Experience Programs with the world’s top firms, we’ve helped over 20,000 students build practical career skills and experience that will actually be used in day-to-day work.

As we continue to understand what drives hiring decisions from HR and employers, we’ve learned that there are three solvable inequalities that stop students from realising their potential:

1. A lack of clarity on what paths a student should take to land the career
2. Not having access to a network of equally ambitious peers to push them along
3. Not having access to individuals and mentors a few steps ahead of them

Today, we’re proud to announce InsideSherpa LaunchPad - our free, hallmark program to help you, or any student, become a world-class candidate for any career path you choose.

What is LaunchPad?

Simply put, this program equips you with everything you need to navigate the entire journey of securing your dream career.

This free program is split into different tracks across the major professional career paths (e.g. investment banking, auditing, consulting, STEM, law). In each track, you gain full access to all the following which is tailored for the industry:

• Online mentoring from successful graduates and alumni to gain the insider, step-by-step tactics on breaking into your chosen industry
• Guidance on how to sell your skills and experience through our profiles feature (this is closely monitored for talent by top employers and recruiters)
• Our ‘highlighted recruitment list’ which allows you to directly connect and showcase your profile to the employers and recruiters on InsideSherpa
• Private Slack channels (split by industry) which give you first notice on job openings + ongoing career tips from alumni and mentors
• Our Career Accelerator Program to hone your foundational career and soft skills

How do you join and get started?

By the time you access and utilise all components of the LaunchPad program, you’ll become a world-class candidate. Not a bad outcome right? As such, we expect a huge influx of student demand.

There’ll be an immense amount of resources required from us to get you career ready. However, our only requirement is for you to match our commitment, and truly be hungry for this opportunity.

The students that are eligible for LaunchPad will have taken the following actions:

• Completed at least two modules on any of our Virtual Experience Programs
• Filled out your profile with at least two portfolio items
• Completed and sent us your most recent CV/resume

This is not just a random checklist. We’ve based this on our experiences over the last two years from interacting with top employers, recruiters and thousands of students.

By doing these three things, it shows you have the right desire, work ethic, and dedication; the foundations on what we will build upon through LaunchPad.
