At InsideSherpa, we’ve learned that many students come from backgrounds where they can’t ask a family member or friend for practical career help — putting them at a huge disadvantage in the competitive job market for students today.
An accidental learning we’ve had after helping thousands of students with our virtual work experiences is that being there for students, when they immediately have a career question, seriously improves their odds of landing an internship or job.
As a result, InsideSherpa is rolling out the ability for students to request free tailored career help anytime, with an InsideSherpa account. With this, students can ask us to:
- Give feedback on my resume/CV before I start applying for roles
- Look over my cover letter before I apply
- What should I roughly do before I can get an internship in [X] industry
- Answer any high-level career questions
- If you're active in our virtual experience programs and community, we can connect you to some of our network of professionals and employers
