July Update: Notepad, Additional Game Support, and Infrastructure Changes
Starting this month, we’ll be providing monthly updates regarding updates to our platform as well as any interesting changes to our product. For those that might not be yet familiar with us, Insights.gg’s is a web application built to be an all in one collaboration hub for gamers, players and coaches to review and analyze their game play with a set of powerful and comprehensive tools. It is our top priority that our product is easy to learn and use so that we can empower organizations and communities to collaborate efficiently and effectively.
We have been in the process of improving our infrastructure to ensure that we can build a scalable product for everyone. Over the next few months we will be making updates and adding new features to our product regularly. A few weeks ago we made the first of these changes, so here is a quick update on what we’ve released so far:
1. Newly released Notepad feature
Our notepad feature has now been released and can easily be accessed as it’s right next to the time stamped comments feature. It’s a great option for you and your team members when you want to collaborate and write down your overall ideas, notes and summaries in a free-form text space.
2. Directly control video privacy settings when you upload a video
Information is valuable and your privacy is a top priority for our team at Insights.gg. Now when you upload videos to your server through youtube/twitch links or from your files, you can choose whether it will be a public or team access only video. This new feature ensures that you can customize the privacy settings on your videos so that you can be in full control of who has access to the videos you and your team are uploading onto the server!
3. The ability to ZOOM in and ZOOM out of selected drawings and Maps Via Mouse Scroll
Struggling to see the details of your drawings or the map overlays? Don’t fret, we’ve now updated this feature to allow you to zoom in and out of the selected drawings and maps with a simple mouse scroll!
4. Additional map overlays and icon features for Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League, Fornite and Valorant
As games change and progress so must our product. We have now added additional map overlay features and character icons for a variety of games so that you and your team can better visualize and strategize for your scrims and competitions.

Being disorganized causes a lot of additional stress and makes your workspace less time efficient. That’s why we’re currently restructuring a new Dashboard which will include new organizational tools such as folders, channels and more!
