We would like to thank the community for following all updates and showing their willingness to participate in the Insolar testnet, which demonstrates the platform’s capability of a throughput in excess of 10,000 transactions per second.
As this testnet is currently private, external parties are not yet able to participate as active nodes, but you can participate as an observer via Insolar’s Block Explorer. At a later time, when Insolar goes live with mainnet, we aim to make Insolar as decentralized and distributed as possible.
At the current stage of the platform, we are performing a controlled test, with the majority of nodes to be run by Insolar’s Development Team. Of the minimum 20 nodes, there will be up to 15 so-called “Virtual Nodes” (Executors and Validators), several Light Material Nodes and one Heavy Material Node. The role of a few Pulsar Nodes will be separate from the others.
When the testnet has been successfully tested in a private environment, we will invite external parties to participate actively as nodes.
Insolar’s Developer Team will appreciate your feedback from participating in testnet, which you can communicate either personally or publicly.
