There’s a brief period in the Gospel story which is seldom considered or preached about — but is a pivotal chapter in the lives of the early disciples.

This is the waiting period which falls neatly between the Ascension and Pentecost.

I invite you to join me as we dive into the fascinating ten-day period between Jesus leaving the disciples and the tumultuous events of the first Pentecost Sunday.

The disciples found themselves in Jerusalem, filled with an extraordinary smorgasbord of emotions — anticipation, uncertainty, excitement and fear.

What was going on in their heads as they attempted to process what they’d experienced in the previous 40 days?
