I suppose it’s a sign that one has truly “arrived” on Medium when one begins to be tagged in writing challenges. 😃
This latest one originated, I believe, with Brett Jenae Tomlin, but it was Denise Kendig who tagged me.
And, always one for a challenge, I decided to take up the cudgels…
It’s 20 quick questions offering a binary choice — all themed around different aspects of Christmas.
1. Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
I recall when I worked in full-time ministry that Christmas Eve — with the unique atmosphere of Midnight Mass — was always a highlight.
Christmas Day was inevitably something of an anti-climax.
Many regular congregation members skipped Christmas Day entirely, as they’d already been to church on Christmas Eve!
I was invariably dog-tired on Christmas Day as I’d been in Church until 1.30 am the night before and couldn’t sleep when I got home as my mind was racing. The best bit of Christmas Day for me was settling down for an afternoon nap on the sofa!
