What Happens To Earnings When You Don’t Write for Four Months…
With actual numbers and “proof of earnings.”
Someone once told me that “Medium is a hungry platform” — ever greedy for new and fresh content.
The suggestion was that we must constantly provide Medium with new content to enjoy “success” (however measured on this platform).
I firmly believed in this advice, which is a significant part of why I posted almost daily on Medium for two years. However, I took a hiatus from the -platform at the end of February — only returning here this past week.
So what happens to earnings when you simply stop posting and interacting on Medium, as I did from March 1st?
That’s the question I am qualified to answer — and will do in this post.
I’ll show you my recent Partner Program Earnings momentarily, but for context, let me say that my first month on Medium was December 2021. I was able to enter the Partner Program roughly halfway through the month and earned $27.50 that month.
