New Code to Learn Lessons!
After your students learn the fundamentals of coding with our K-5 Learn to Code Curriculum, they’ll be ready to dive into our Code to Learn Lesson Library.
This library is full of project-based lessons that help students apply their coding skills to cross-curricular subjects such as math, English language arts, and social studies.
We will be expanding our library by adding 5 NEW premium lessons every month! These lessons will be accessible as part of your Lesson Library subscription.
In October, we added 5 new lessons focused on content for kindergarten through second grade:
- The Alphabet: Alpha-Byte Zoo
- Counting: Treasure Hunters
- Grammar: Awesome Adjectives!
- Addition: Add It Up with Dot!
- Space Systems: Day and Night with Dash
For November, we are releasing 5 new K-2 lessons focused on math concepts such as geometry and addition:
- Number Identification: Number Dash!
- Comparing Numbers: Dash Wants More!
- Identifying Shapes: Shaping Up!
- Time & Money: Dash the Time Traveler
- Shape Attributes: Dashing Shape Artist
When you try these new lessons, please feel free to share photos of your students’ finished projects with us via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We may even feature your photos in the lessons! Also, we’re always looking for suggestions on what topics to tackle next.
We had fun designing these lessons, and we hope you enjoy trying them out!
