Dear readers,

It has been a while since we have checked-in with you all on Medium, but we are back!

We have some news for you. While we have been quiet, we have been working on something exciting… we have a new website and we will be moving there exclusively soon, leaving Medium.

When thinking about our new website, the first thing that we would like to inspire is: community.

Here at ITM we focus on bringing together everything you’ve always wanted to know about the world of mental health, art, and science. We value our community and continuously reach out to create a safe and positive environment for both our readers and our writers, slowly reducing the stigma around mental illness. Our website was built to support and showcase ‘mental health’ as a complex subject, by providing a public platform where research and lived experience meet, allowing our authors to gain exposure, and giving life to our columns for all of our readers.

By creating an environment where everyone is free to share their lived experiences, take part in our activities and discover new scientific research, we create a community of people that enrich each other and continuously contribute to the current knowledge around mental health.

We want to personally thank you for your support here on Medium. While we will sadly be taking a step back from Medium, to focus on expanding our community, we would like to invite you to join us on this next part of our journey.

On our new website you will find new articles multiple times a week and will have the opportunity to join our community by signing up to our ‘Re-Minded’ newsletter. Every other week you will receive exclusive content from a member of our team, including anything from personal musings to new discoveries, or maybe even a recipe or two…

We will continue posting on Medium until the 28th of February, but after that our content will be exclusive to our website, so make sure you check it out!

We started posting on here back in March 2019, and our success so far is thanks to your support over the last few years. So, thank you.

We hope to see you soon!

Your Inspire the Mind team.
