René Lacoste is a name that has become synonymous with the iconic polo shirt and the crocodile logo. Yet, beyond the fashion empire, Lacoste was a man of relentless focus and meticulousness, particularly in his (and mine) original passion: tennis.

I have always admired people capable of leaving an everlasting mark on human history. Lacoste was one of my first heroes.

I thought: “This man, playing tennis, managed not only to be a sports champion but even invented a new way of dressing”. A true legend.

In this article, we’ll delve into Lacoste’s obsessive note-taking habits and explore how this meticulousness can be a game-changer in any field, not just sports.

The Man Behind the Racquet

René Lacoste was not just a fashion icon but a tennis legend.

Born in France in 1904, Lacoste was a dominant force in the tennis world during the 1920s. He was part of the “Four Musketeers,” a quartet of French tennis players who dominated the sport during that era.

Lacoste’s approach to tennis was scientific, analytical, and obsessive.
