Open source is a big part of what we do. We embrace, extend, and build things using open-source software. We constantly conceptualize, tinker, and build things that use technology in unique ways helping our customers to differentiate themselves. In our pursuit to accelerate the value delivery, we have invested in several internal projects. These projects aim to reduce the time and complexity of building the right foundations by leveraging reusable libraries and tools. We have an unwavering belief in contributing back to the ecosystem and providing fundamental building blocks to realize next-level thinking. While we have always contributed back to the open-source and developed tools and technologies that further lower the barrier to innovation; some of these investments have been available exclusively to our customers so far.

However, we are really excited to change that starting today by open-sourcing some of the internal tools and frameworks. We believe wider access to these tools and libraries can help the tech community foster innovation while building bigger and better things. As we start to gradually open source a few of them, today we are starting with Clamp. Clamp is a microservices orchestration and workflow manager. Its beta version is now available for the community to use alongside its code under MIT License. It is the first of our many open source projects to come.

Microservice orchestration using Clamp for greenfield and brownfield projects

We have repeatedly built microservices for our customers at scale. The philosophy and design of powering Clamp are proven. The library embodies our opinion of how microservices architecture should be built and deployed. We have been using the architecture pattern on our projects with tremendous success, and now we offer that hard work to the rest of the community to explore, contribute, and grow. We are looking forward to this opportunity to contribute back to the ecosystem that has underpinned our growth and success for so long.
