Limited Freedom

Freedom drives creativity. Too much freedom destroys creativity.

A right balance between freedom and limitation is what we, as a worker, need … in case we want to do something meaningful and different.

Think about building a new house on an empty land and renovating an old — dilapidated house on a very limited space.

The new house is a blank canvas. No limitation except for the boundary of 400 square meters.

The old house is a canvas filled with oil paintings. It is a constraint nightmare. Space, shape, age, neighbor, and rules.

A great architect knows that working only with a blank canvas won’t help her reach her full potential. A great architect always looks for a challenge in renovations, which will help bring the other side of her creativity.

We too don’t attach ourselves too much on new stuffs. Try to seek to stretch ourselves by taking some old — messy projects occasionally.

Don’t be afraid of a sully canvas.

Thinking and writing are the things I like. Sharing is what I love. Because of them, I write everyday to share stories from my thoughts and experiences, from the future I see and believe in. Everything I use to build Inthentic a better home. A home of people who want to do good things and give back. A home that is a small starting point of changes for a better society. I am proud of what I am doing. And even prouder to know that I am not doing it alone.
