No Idea

Not because she is shy.

Not because she is arrogant.

Not because she is selfish.

Not because she is bored.

But because she is nervous.

But because she is excited.

But because she doesn’t understand.

But because she doesn’t know what to say.

Knowledge is the core foundation of confidence. Knowledge brings courage. Knowledge ignites a drive to work. But because she has no idea what she is dealing with, that’s the reason why she is quiet, isn’t answering, isn’t explaining, isn’t making a decision and is looking for help from others she thinks have more knowledge than herself.

“Why did the client want this?” — She is speechless.

“What it the root cause of the problem?” — She just keeps looking down.

“So what is it going to be, the former or the latter?” — She hesitates.

Not because she is stupid. Not because her brain is not functioning well. And not because she is a bad person.

Being in this kind of situation, we don’t push more pressure on her but we must empathize her for not possessing enough knowledge and courage to act.

Being in this kind of situation, we don’t fire orders for her to do this and that but we must begin to give her knowledge she needs in order to build confidence, courage and deeper relationship. We make her feel like she belongs.

Whatever position we are in right now, we are all responsible for other human being. And when it comes to this matter, a very few things is more valuable than transferring knowledge and care to a person next to us … including her.

Thinking and writing are the things I like. Sharing is what I love. Because of them, I write everyday to share stories from my thoughts and experiences, from the future I see and believe in. Everything I use to build Inthentic a better home. A home of people who want to do good things and give back. A home that is a small starting point of changes for a better society. I am proud of what I am doing. And even prouder to know that I am not doing it alone.
