I Will Prepare and Some Day My Chance Will Come

Happy birthday Abraham Lincoln! Born on February 12, 1809, Lincoln would be 207 years old today. What a legacy he provided during his lifetime serving as the 16th President of the United States. His many inspirations live on today. Here are a dozen of my favorite Abraham Lincoln quotes:

Folks are usually about as happy as they make their minds up to be.

Whatever you are, be a good one.

And in the end it is not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years.

Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any one thing.

You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.

The best way to predict your future is to create it.

He has a right to criticize, who has a heart to help.

I am in favor of animal rights as well as human rights. That is the way of a whole human being.

All I have learned, I learned from books.

Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.

No matter how much the cats fight, there always seem to be plenty of kittens.

I will prepare and some day my chance will come.
