Two new tenants at Bennie’s Bleaters Barn.

We tried to get pictures that would impart how tiny they are, but it’s hard to do.

Above them is a standard heat lamp.

It’s bigger than they are. Silvie is on the left, and Blue is at the back.

They are being bottle-fed four times per day and will grow very quickly.

It’s so hot here — 109 degrees on Wednesday — they can’t be outside, so they are inside with a fan blowing on them.

They are brother and sister — 2 weeks old and weighing 5 lbs each.

These two round out the population of goats owned by Bennie’s Bleaters for 2024.

Baby goats are fragile but funny and playful.

They are susceptible to many diseases that require constant diligence on my part, and I give them shots and medication to ward off diseases and build their immunity.
