I am an app developer. I don’t make apps just for my job, but also for ideas flashed into my mind. When an idea sparks in my head, I usually visualize it right away. Visualization is an important step to know whether the ideas are feasible and attractive. And visualization is a window of your brain to the other people. A picture is worth a thousand words.

There are some tools you can use to make your app designs, like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketch from Bohemian Coding. Now, there is another tool you can use easily from the phone to create your designs; it is called Inspr.

Inspr is created for making app designs easily and directly from the phone. Every element on the screen can be moved or resized by dragging. And lots of detail settings you can use to make the design vivid, like dropping the shadow, creating the rounded shape rectangle, or gradient colors.

Control elements in Inspr

In Inspr, there are nine templates you can start with. With those templates, it saves a lot of time by just changing some elements to finish your design.

Inspr also integrates with a prototyping app, POP (prototype on paper). With POP, you can connect pages of designs, define the animation for a page to page transition, and also define the actions of how to trigger the animation. It could make you design mocks acting like a real one. Then you can share the prototype with friends and test how they feel about your idea.

Inspr is only available on iOS; it is free with IAP to turn on some advanced functions. You can try it now.
