Mark Cuban, Daymond John, and Robert Herjavec are all staples to the popular ABC reality television show Shark Tank. And while they usually make their investments in fiat money, these three Sharks are just as interested in cryptocurrencies as everyone else.

Both John and Hejavec raved about Blockchain and Cryptocurrency’s potentials in their interviews with MONEY.

“To me, it’s the wave of the future,” Herjavec told MONEY. “Fast forward 25 years from now, there will be some form of a cryptocurrency that we will pay for electronically, and the concept of cash will go away one day.

“It’s going to have massive benefits for humanity, in all kinds of transactions. Including cybersecurity.”

John compared the rise of blockchain to the internet’s explosion and impact around the early 1990s. Many people were skeptical of this ‘internet’ back then but now it has become a part of everyday lives…especially in business.

“You gotta start learning about it now,” John said. “Let’s say you want to invest in cryptocurrency or MedTech or real estate. Every single one of those is going to have a vast amount of things you need to know.

“If you’re not investing in yourself [and learning], I can sell you anything I want in cryptocurrency or MedTech. Remember, every single exchange of money, no matter what, someone has made money in it. People sell us [on our] insecurities.”

Cuban is just as enthusiastic about cryptocurrencies as John and Herjavec. As the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Cuban partnered with a blockchain company as a sponsor for the Maverick’s jerseys and is allowing Mavericks fans to pay in cryptocurrencies for merchandise and tickets to games.

But Cuban, like John, wants people to be diligent with how they invest in digital currencies.

“If it’s money you need to depend on and can’t afford to lose, don’t do it,” Cuban said. “If you have money you can gamble with, then it’s worth taking a shot.”

But Cuban knows that buying, trading, and watching stocks both rise and fall is all part of the game. Digital currencies are the same way and he wants in like everyone else.

“It’s an interesting space that I [want] to get involved with and learn more about,” Cuban additionally told CNBC.
