The Utah Jazz Extend Their Partnership With Zions Bank
The National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Utah Jazz announced a multi-year extension with partner Zions Bank. The extensive new agreement names Zions the official bank of the Utah Jazz.
“Zions Bank is a leader in our community, and we are very pleased for the Utah Jazz to renew our affiliation with them as an exclusive partner,” stated Jim Olson, president of the Utah Jazz.
“We have had an outstanding relationship, shared wonderful community achievements through the years and look forward to what we can continue to do together.”
The Salt Lake City-based firm also plans to launch the ‘Shoes and Backpacks’ initiative with Adidas. The Jazz will provide Adidas backpacks and Jazz all-star Donovan Mitchell’s basketball shoes to the youth from various disadvantaged neighborhoods around Utah. Zions Bank also plans to hold an annual basketball clinic for underprivileged youth.
Zion’s deal expansion also includes increased brand visibility within the Jazz’s Vivint Arena and across its digital properties.

“We are thrilled to continue our close association through this expanded partnership and look forward to introducing new ways to leverage the strength of our combined voices to further enhance our community.”
Lastly, Zions Bank retains its naming rights for Utah’s practice facility. It will maintain its title as a founding partner of the team’s NBA G League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars.
