Disney Conservation Fund: Rapid Response Grants — Rolling Deadline
Who’s it for? Nonprofits and academic institutions located in the US. What projects are eligible? Projects which help animals during emergencies and natural disasters through its Rapid Response Fund.
How much? Up to US $5,000
Fish & Wildlife 2017 Recovery Implementation Grants — Deadline July 31, 2017
Who’s it for? Nonprofits, States, other Federal agencies, landowners, educators, researchers, and other partners. What projects are eligible? Projects which secure information about endangered, threatened or candidate species, in order to aid in the recovery of these species, to avert listing of species pursuant to the Endangered Species Act, and to help conserve the ecosystems upon which these species depend.
How much? Up to US $100,000
Fund for Wild Nature Grants — Deadline May 1, 2017
Who’s it for? Nonprofits located in North America. What projects are eligible? Projects aimed at saving native species and wild ecosystems, with particular emphasis on actions designed to defend threatened wilderness and biological diversity.
How much? US $1,000 — US $3,000
Lauren Townsend Memorial Wildlife Fund — Deadline May 26, 2017
Who’s it for? Nonprofits based in the US. What projects are eligible? Nonprofit projects that focus on animal welfare or wildlife preservation.
How much? Up to US $8,000
Fresno Chaffee Zoo Wildlife Conservation Fund — Deadline June 1, 2017
Who’s it for? Nonprofits, academic institutions, graduate students, postdocs, faculty, and working professionals based in the US. What projects are eligible? Projects promoting understanding and enjoyment of rare, threatened and endangered animals and their habitats and to support zoological research that will directly benefit captive animal management.
How much? US $1,000 — US $2,000
Brevard Zoo Conservation Fund — August 1, 2017
Who’s it for? Only nonprofits & NGOs are eligible, for research, applied program/project, or education/outreach projects. Graduate students and individuals not affiliated with a nonprofit or NGO are not eligible.
What projects are eligible? Research projects advancing wildlife conservation.
How much? US $2,000 — US $7,000
Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund Grants — Deadline June 30, 2017
Who’s it for? Both organizations and individuals. What projects are eligible? Only projects about endangered species conservation. Read our interview with MBZ here.
How much? Up to US $25,000
Shell Foundation Grant — Rolling DEADLINE
Who’s it for? 501c3 nonprofits in the United States
What programs are eligible? Programs that restore critical ecosystems, address water, air quality research, preserve wetlands and sponsor wetlands initiatives.
How much? 2015 grants ranged from $150,000 to $1,400,000 USD
Fluor Foundation Grants — Rolling Deadline
Who’s it for? Nonprofits and academic institutions. What projects are eligible? Projects promoting responsible stewardship of the environment and supports organizations that protect natural resources and habits through conservation, restoration and beautification, and environmental education
How much? Unspecified amount
SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund — Deadline April 30, 2017
Who’s it for? Nonprofits, governments and academic institutions located anywhere in the world. What projects are eligible? Projects involving species research, habitat protection, conservation education, animal rescue and rehabilitation. Read more to learn about their specific funding priorities.
