Exciting to get the opening newsletter from the “Just Transition Finance Lab”. The Lab has been around for six months and gain in profile. The addition of rigour and insight from the LSE to this critical topic is highly valuable.

We are delighted to share with you the opening newsletter of the Just Transition Finance Lab.

Launched at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2024 and hosted by the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, the Lab’s vision is for the transformation of the global financial system to achieve progress on climate and wider environmental goals through a people-centred approach. Our intention is for the Lab to show how that a just transition is both possible and investible.

Below we share our latest work and invite you to join an exciting new community of practice that will develop innovative strategies and tools for achieving the financial system transformation needed for a just transition.
