InsureDAO on Optimism is coming!!

We are excited to announce the InsureDAO launch on Optimism Network.
This is a great first step for the InsureDAO multi-chain strategy.
As a first insurance protocol on optimism, we are aiming to provide a safety net for protocols and users in the Optimism ecosystem.
Also, we’ve secured a partnership with Synthetix which is the largest protocol on Optimism and its derivatives are used on many DeFi protocols.

Why We Choose Optimism
We expect that we could appeal our protocol to new users and provide better UX by launching Optimism.
- Optimism is one of the most popular Ethereum L2 networks.
- Optimism now has a TVL of about 300M.
- Gas fee is low and reduces the entry barrier for users
Moreover, there is yet no DeFi insurance protocol on Optimism.
InsureDAO would be the first protocol to provide a safety net for protocols and users in the Optimism ecosystem.

・Smart Contract Hacking Insurance Launch phase1
The InsureDAO team will provide underwriting liquidity up to $100k to each insurance pool covering Synthetix and Lyra. Users from these protocols will be able to purchase insurance up to the liquidity and cover their funds against smart contract risks.
Aug 2022
・Smart Contract Hacking Insurance Launch phase2/ Open underwriter farming function
In addition to Synthetix and Lyra, we will add insurance pools. Also, Once INSURE token is deployed to Optimism, we are planning to open the underwriting function to anyone, and start the rewards farming for underwriters.
