InsureDAO updates June 2021
Hi, as announced in the last post, we successfully close a $1M financing round, including top crypto investors! Now, we’ve been working hard on the upcoming testnet launch.
Today, we would like to share the monthly updates for June with you😆
InsureDAO updates
Overall
We’ve developed InsureDAO as a DeFi insurance framework, which allows anyone to create insurance for any protocol with a customisable reporting process.
Our smart contract will get audited by Quantstamp and Solidified in July.
We choose these two code audit companies, who audits many prominent DeFi protocols, such as Curve (by Quantstamp), Compound (by Quantstamp), Nexus Mutual (by Solidified), and Kyber Network (by Solidified).
Development
・Schedule
- We are planning to start battling tests on Testnet in July.
- Our smart contract audit will start in July.
- After that, we will launch on the Mainnet in August.
・Contracts
- We‘ve completed the development of smart contracts.
- Upgraded protocol with open insurance creation.
- Upgraded protocol with the customisable reporting process.
Governance
We’ve completed the development of governance contracts.

We set ReportingDAO which is an independent group that investigates and reports to decide whether or not to pay out when a certain incident happens.
We are now looking for a security expert, such as a code audit company, to be a reporting member. If you are interested in ReportingDAO, please DM us😊

・Daisuke Iwase has joined as a chairman!
He is a well-respected pioneer in the insurance sector. He co-founded Lifenet Insurance Company, which is the first digital life insurance company in Japan, listed on the Tokyo stock market. He is also a Former CDO at AIA Group, the largest independent publicly listed pan-Asian life insurance group. He graduated from Tokyo University and Harvard Business School as a Baker Scholar.
