The band was in the flow of spirits when I arrived to the rehearsal. They started working together for some weeks ago, and so far they went without a keyboard player. I had seen the front man before, he is the founder of a thriving group and got creditable fame in Europe, so he is now using his talent, experience and relationships to make his mark in a new trend. He just started his solo carrier and was looking for musicians he could share ideas with, who stand as a team behind him and create materials that will attract large crowd. I listened to the strain. Baneth’s melodic voice and on-stage competence seemed promising. I liked this new sounding. I set up my instrument after the first piece, and tried to get involved and tuned in the next song. I was happy to notice appreciative looks after playing some harmonics. They took me into the gang. We spent the next months with rehearsals and studio work. Our new album was up.

The band had been playing together for a while, but it was easy to fit in. Composing went smoothly. Istvan the guitar player leads the group with a special sense. He can pull the strings when necessary, and can colour the melody softly with smooth plunks as well. Tomi sits behind the drums. We can always trust him, he never misses the beat. He is usually a quiet guy, but the same cannot be said about his work. He is banging the drums without a break putting an accurate rhythm in every song.

BT is the other member of the rhythm section who assures the safe base with a creative variation of deep sounds. David is making the sound special in a couple of compositions with his wind instruments. Me, I play the keyboards. Last, but not least Greta is also a stable, integral part of our band. She is our lyricist and sense of beauty. She writes the lyrics upon her own and Baneth’s ideas, and the band sets it to music and scores it together. She also helps fine-tuning the results in the studio.

After half year of hard work, our album was almost ready. We got a lot of positive feedback, and the number of fans increased day by day. We soon reached the magic 1000 sold pieces. With our proper ideas we created something new, something different. We reached our audience, and they were open to get us to know. We discovered a new tone, and we soon got on top of local hit lists, while we enjoyed working together more and more and were getting desperate to become famous. A world tour is our intention, to conquer the international charts.

Designing, implementing and launching speakerhub.com was such a powerful process, just as when a rock band starts to compose and record their first album up till it is on the radio. We rewrote it several times, threw it away, rewrote it again. Sometimes we were developing in silence, other times we just listened carefully, and we were often very loud.
