We are hiring: JavaScript teachers!

Want to make a real difference by doing JavaScript?

We mean a REAL difference. Not creating a new feature for that (boring) B2B app you’re currently building (even if it is running on the latest tech set).

Integrify enables integration through technology. We teach recent immigrants coding and lead them into jobs within the tech industry. So far 100% of our students have been employed as software developers, which proves that our model is working. This year 80 students will start in our training and we are growing fast.

Our courses are free for the students and the business model is staffing. Next year we will also move towards project-based consulting, where you could play an important part.

Currently we are looking for a full-time coding teacher to unlock the potential among immigrants and turn them into coders. We have done this before and now we are looking into expanding operations. This is a true once in a lifetime opportunity as what Integrify does is an internationally novel approach for integrating motivated and skillful refugees and immigrants.

Job start is negotiable, but preferably in January.

What you will do is:
- Teach Modern JavaScript — the current curriculum you can find here.
- Create & revise a teaching curriculum for the participants based on our existing approach for a back-end course (Python).
- Further develop our service offering for partner companies (such as project-based consulting work)
- Mentor the participants and equip them with necessary work-life skills

We expect from you:
- Programming experience with JavaScript & React, Node.js and Python
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, LESS
- Experience in working in a multicultural environment
- Good command of English language, Finnish is a plus
- True interest in helping out immigrants in a sustainable way
