Open STEM, Open Doors

This #GivingTuesday intellADAPT is proud to announce the launch of our #OpenSTEMOpenDoors initiative. Through crowd-sourced generosity we hope to raise 540k to empower 2 million STEM students annually.

We have made it our mission to provide open access to quality STEM Education. By providing free, fundamental digital STEM courses talented students can realize their dream job in a STEM field regardless of their schedule, geographical location, or socioeconomic status.

intellADAPT plans to leverage our breakthrough Adaptive 2.0 Learning Technology to develop an additional 9 STEM Digital Courses. To provide the highest quality digital courses we will continue to partner with top-tier universities, high-schools, and individual educators. These digital courses will be free and open to anyone that is interested in STEM. Additionally, these courses can be implemented by individual schools or entire districts, that don’t currently offer STEM courses

Increasing the STEM talent pool is our best bet to reinvigorate American industry, close the growing competency gap, and move towards a more egalitarian higher education admissions process.

Why We Need Open STEM Education

Only 54% of public schools offer at least 4 AP Programs — this puts those graduates at a severe disadvantage when applying to prestigious universities

Shortage of qualified STEM graduates — many STEM positions remain vacant or are outsourced damaging the US economy

Growing competency gap — many individuals are grossly unskilled preventing them from getting a job in an increasingly competitive world

Low rate of minority students pursuing STEM Education — while many students have an interest in STEM many school districts, particularly in economically distressed areas, do not offer quality STEM education
