Intella X is a Web3 gaming platform that aims to bring both Web2 and Web3 game developers and gamers together in a self-sustainable ecosystem that gives back to its contributors with proper rewards and support. As a platform service provider in Web3, Intella X offers not only high-quality games, but also diverse Web3 protocols that will enhance the users’ Web3 gaming experience.
In Web3, users generally need a cryptocurrency wallet to interact with any services that use blockchain technology. Blockchain-based decentralized applications, or DApps, require users to connect their crypto wallets like MetaMask because they utilize blockchain transactions and handle on-chain data. Intella X is no exception, and in order to play Web3 games and use various services on Intella X, a crypto wallet is necessary.
Intella X provides its own wallet service to the users. The Intella X wallet is a proprietary tool that gives users access to all of the platform’s services. The users can transfer their digital assets, use the platform’s decentralized exchange (DEX) to swap tokens and earn yields by depositing to liquidity pair pools, view their NFTs, and more.
The Intella X wallet was designed to bring Web3 closer to the users and facilitate mass adoption. Continue reading to learn what its key features are and how they’ll be relevant to you as the user.
Easy registration steps and social logins
Seed phrases (combinations of words used as access keys that are unique to each crypto wallet) are meant to be a secure way for users to protect their wallets and recover or import them on different devices, but it takes time and practice for Web2 users to feel comfortable with seed phrases and wallet recovery.
The Intella X wallet does not generate seed phrases during the registration process, and allows users to create their wallets simply by logging in with their social accounts. This one-step registration using social logins makes the Intella X wallet much more accessible and convenient to use.
Separately stored private keys
Private keys give access to crypto wallets — digital assets can be stolen by anyone if private keys are compromised. To keep users’ private keys safe and secure, Intella X uses a decentralized private key storage solution provided by Web3Auth. Private keys are split and stored separately as different pieces, and only a few of the pieces are needed to allow users access to their wallets. The pieces are never put together as a whole key, adding an extra layer of security.
Meta transactions
Another major hurdle that hinders the mass adoption of Web3 is transaction fees, which are also known as gas fees. Gas fees are the fees paid to the miners or validators of a blockchain network for their work of processing blockchain data. Standard gas fees are in the form of the blockchain network’s native currency such as ETH for the Ethereum chain and MATIC for the Polygon chain. The issue with gas fees is that Web2 users who enter Web3 for the first time will most likely not have any native currencies in their wallets.
To save them the burden of doing extra research and taking further steps to purchase native currencies from centralized exchanges, Intella X uses meta transactions. Meta transactions are transactions in which the user, who initiates the blockchain transaction, does not have to pay the network’s gas fee in its native currency. Intella X does the job of paying the gas fee in the blockchain network’s native currency, and the user has the option to pay for the fee using a different digital asset. Because Intella X users can obtain game tokens by playing the platform’s Web3 games, they can use those tokens to pay for gas, eliminating the need to buy native currencies separately.
