Purple & Pink

Purple and pink are transition colors. Made from two of the most overwhelming colors for me, red and blue, these pigments will into existence a new beginning of love and lack thereof.

As touched upon in Blue, my relationship with feelings of sadness and constant pressure have had a large presence in my life and how I go about finding time to love myself and others.

Once down, it was incredibly hard to find stable ground and pick myself up again due to my practices of overworking myself when in a very “Red” point in my life. There was barely any time for me to take care and nurture myself into keeping up good eating and study habits. These transitional stages of my life have been key in finding out more about myself than before. One of the key songs that I associate with this journey is Dreamy Night by LilyPichu.

In the song, Lily tells her own story of overcoming dark points in her life and getting past those dreary nights in order to see the sun as well as be at her best once more.

Through treating myself better I have also learned a lot about my identity in love and what love languages I fall under. Words of affirmation and quality time have been qualities that I wish to see the most in somebody that I love, especially since I have these tendencies to transition back into the blue parts of my memories and forget to take care of myself. Due to the fact that I have only scratched the surface of real love, these playlists are quite short and in a developmental phase as I break into my identity.
