God Bless the Religious Faithful Suing the MAGA Administration
“Follow the light and reflect that light”
Immigrants are not criminals. En masse, they are not threatening our national security.
Twenty-seven brave and righteous organizations are living out their faith and answering the call all religions have in common: love and serve one another.
This ecumenical consortium of 27 religious groups is suing the current administration to prevent raids and the interrogation and arrests of immigrants in houses of worship. Christians Against Christian Nationalism contributor Jerry Gale shared their names (listed below) from the 80-page lawsuit to publicly acknowledge their courage and their uprightness. According to the complaint filed in the District of Columbia: “They bring this suit unified on a fundamental belief: Every human being, regardless of birthplace, is a child of God worthy of dignity, care, and love. Welcoming the stranger, or immigrant, is thus a central precept of their faith practices.”¹
