If there’s anyone who is jumping for joy at this new trend, it’s me. If ombre hair doesn’t suit me, then it’ll have to be ombre walls. Or bedding. Or carpets. Can you sense my excitement?

Ombre in interior design is a new trend, based on the color transition from dark tones to light tones or from one tint to another. Exhibit A:

Obsessed much?!

Okay, so let’s see where else this gorgeous trend can add value to your home design.

Ombre Walls

If you want to go bold, an ombre wall is the way to go. You may have to get a professional painter so that it looks perfect, or you could just buy and put up some ombre wallpaper yourself.

When applying the effect of ombre on interior walls, you must keep in mind that in rooms with low and standard ceilings, the darkest shades should be at the bottom. This will visually increase the height of the space. You can use different shades of one color, various different colors, and add different dimensions or shapes to your design. Carte blanche at its absolute best.

Ombre Bedding or Curtains

If you love ombre, but not enough to invest in painting your walls (which is a bit more of a permanent or long-term decision) then incorporating the ombre trend in other areas of your home interior is a must. Bedding and curtains are two great options.

Silk, linen, cotton and organza are the best fabrics to use when choosing an ombre curtain design. A gradient on these fabrics will create a great element of light. There are also fabrics where the gradient is painted like watercolor, in carefree but picturesque strokes, which is also a stunning alternative (I am a watercolor enthusiast!)

Ombre Furniture

If this isn’t a vibe, I don’t know what is! Even furniture can feature the ombre style. Add a new chair in the living room that features the dip-dye style or give an old dresser new life by following this fun DIY ombre project.

Ombre may be the latest craze, but it doesn’t look like it’s going out of style anytime soon. Use any of these ideas to freshen up your home with ombre and give your space a new look!
