The Berlin Blockchain week commenced on a high note and was followed by the Token Wirtschaft 2018, which hosted over 100 guests at the Kreuzberg Castle, Berlin. The token economy was the centre of discussions along with token engineering and protocols. The event projected the enormous potential of the token systems and the possibilities to master the many aspects in order to develop a decentralized network.

The event is in its opening round and was orchestrated by the joint efforts of Linum Labs, energy Web Foundation and Token Foundry. The castle provided a relaxed environment for the guests and the many token experts who shared their expertise and thoughts on the powerful tools of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The different speakers from the very forefront of the blockchain industry gathered to share their insight, such as Ocean Protocol, MakerDAO or Spherity.

Amidst this Carsten Stöcker and Michael Rüther unveiled the community project — The Interlinked Protocol — while announcing the project at the Token Wirtschaft.

”The aim of our protocol is to equip users with the ability to exchange data, physical value, digital or physical assets and services in a privacy-preserving environment.“ Michael Rüther said.

The Interlinked Protocol is an open-source project for developers around the globe which facilitates a self-sustaining decentralised ecosystem. It will connect human and non-human intelligence by providing an interoperable base layer.

”We were delighted to see the warm response from the audience for our exciting project.“ Carsten Stöcker mentioned.

The event also witnessed the exciting token teardown activity overlooked by Token Foundry’s head of token design, Wayne Chang. The Wirtschaft 2018 also hosted a variety of engaging events around token systems, which also included a drawing activity.

The experts at the event elaborated on the groundbreaking applications of the token systems. They also explained the techniques of bootstrapping decentralised networks.

In addition to this, Dimitri De Jonghe and Paul Kohlhaas held a workshop on ‘Token Bonding Curves.’ The workshop was very engaging and provided with solid takeaways for the participants.

Community building and adoption of these networks were covered by an insightful session given by Simona Pop from ConsenSys Bounties and Jess Salomon from MakerDAO. The environment at the event was accentuated by the shade of green trees and the beautiful Kreuzberg Castle.

The event provided an ideal stage for minds passionate about token economies and for people who are newbies to the field of the decentralized world. Do check out the quick recap video below.
