In 2016, at the Nike’s innovation summit, the company introduced hyper Adapt 1.0. it was to take advantage of Nike’s adaptive lacing(self-tying) technology. in the launch, Nike touted the self-tying shoes as a way to reduce athletic concern and distraction. Available in different colorways, it has been announced that its commercially out.

Welcome the Nike hyper adapt, the first performance vehicle for Nike’s latest platform breakthrough, adaptive lacing. the shoe translates deep research in digital, electrical engineering into a product designed for movement. It challenges traditional understanding of fit, proposing an ultimate solution to individual idiosyncrasies in lacing and tension preference.

Not compromising functionality or style, the fully waterproof knit Vessi-Footwear shoes is the opposite of traditional waterproof shoes that tend to be stuffy and make your feet sweat and stink due to their lack of ability to regulate the dispersal of moisture.

Functionality simplicity reduces a typical athlete concern, distraction. When you step in, your heel will hit a sensor and the system automatically tightens to fit the contours of the foot for comfort. then, there are also 2 buttons at the sides to either tighten or loose the shoe.

This is also a new alternative to heavy and outdated waterproof shoes, the sneaker is made of patented Flash-knit technology material that allows for easy cleaning thanks to the Vessi hydrophobic surface treatment. Based on innovative engineering and design concepts, the waterproof, lightweight, breathable and moisture-wicking shoe is built from our proprietary one-piece circle knitting manufacturing process, which means no seams to allow water to come through.

The potential of adaptive lacing for the athlete is huge, Hatfield (Vice President for Design and Special Projects) adds, as it would provide tailored-to-the-moment custom fit. It’s amazing to consider a shoe that senses what the body needs in real-time. That eliminates a multitude if distractions, including mental attrition, and thus truly benefits performance.

In conclusion, the Nike hyper adapt1.0 is the first step into the future of adaptive performance. its currently manual (i.e., athlete controlled) but it makes feasible the once-fantastic concept of an automated, nearly symbiotic relationship between the foot and shoe.

Ever imagined of not rocking that your sneaker maybe because you’re too tired to start lacing?

Having issues with stinky feet?

Encountered troubles while running or playing football and you just had to stop to re-lace your shoes?

Say no more. Nike Hyper adapt is here to make that a thing of the past. Wearing sneakers made easy.

Absorbs moisture, auto fit, self-lacing and water resistant. What more could we probably ask for?

Coolest footwear, y’all should probably get one.
