#TeachTheKids: Upskill Digital Insight
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”, golden words by Mahatma Gandhi who led is whole life in the service of others. Also Mary Rose McGeady said “There is no greater joy nor greater reward than to make a fundamental difference in someone’s life.”
I always wondered why somebody doesn’t do something about that. Then I realized I am somebody. And with this motive Internauts Foundation was born. Our basic initiative is to share the knowledge, specially to the students. Motto was to make them see the magic of the technology and whats happening around the world.
So..here I am again with a blog on our Initiative for social work. Basically the first question which is raised in our mind is, What is Internauts Foundation? Along with that some common questions as : How it works? What is works? Or else you may think of it like a “C’mon guys, What do you get by doing social work?, It’s just a waste of time!”.
“As we lose ourselves in the service of others, we discover our own lives and our own happiness.” With this thought in our mind we started a small initiative to teach the kids and make them aware about the computer technologies. Instead of just lying on our beds being lazy on weekends, why not to share our knowledge and nurture the upcoming bright minds. So, We as a team of Internauts Foundation, we came up with an idea to teach the kids and make them aware about computer, internet, recent technologies, etc. Now you’ll think like what’s new in this? They have computer subject and computer labs, they do practicals and all are aware about it. But let me tell you, this scenario which you are imagining is of private schools. Just think about the scenario about the students who are studying from the government school.
Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love and you must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is right. Teaching is a beautiful art of spreading knowledge specially to the children of school who don’t get enough facilities. With this motive we took our first session at Swami Vivekananda High School.
We Went through their syllabus and found the relevant and interesting topics to be talked about. We prepared a proper agenda for the event. So according to the schedule Vaishnavi made them aware about “History of Computer”. Later Harshal guided them with the “Interaction with Networking”. After being so technical, we thought of a talk on “What’s Marketing? And Introduction to Digital Marketing” by Sumit and Lastly Kamlesh Interacted with them regarding “How to be smart Internet User?”
We were very happy to see the happy and curious faces. We got very positive response and the happiness we got by their response is just incredible. So keep spreading knowledge and share positivity.
