Social media

Social media has the power to spread news and rumors around the world in a few minutes, which assists its users in knowing every recent incident as it happens. It helps people share their opinions about a company or a product that they have used or seen. They keep people more communicating and close to inventing groups, events, and even evaluations. That means social media now have changed the entire world by people who want to make a change. Thus, organizations, government or people can find much useful information from the social media to analyze what is going on or what people are talking about.

Social media is a tool for an organization to be connected with the customers and keep watch over what they are saying. Therefore, employees need to be active with the social media mediums to anticipate the consumers’ requests and trends. Using social media to analyze a lot of information that can help competitors to define the weak parts in the competitive organizations. Also, they help competitors to predict the new coming product or technology after reading consumers’ comments or employees’ responds.

According to Carly Schramm in his article the Capitalize On Social Media With Big Data Analytics “As Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other social sites continue to unleash a torrent of data, organizations need to not only turn the information generated into actionable intelligence, but also to measure the business value.” Social media has huge data that need to be analyzed to measure the value before to affect positively or negatively in the entire businesses.
