Systems Is My Word for 2025
How I’m scaling my business ventures this year.
At the start of 2024, I wrote an article titled “3 Words I’m Living by in 2024 as an Athlete and Entrepreneur.” Surprisingly, I have generally lived up to those words despite forgetting about the article.
My three words were focus, control, and progress.
Although there were cases where I lost focus, control, and looked toward results instead of progress, I am overall happy with what I had accomplished.
We can start backward with progress first.
In January 2024, I made $149.14 from Medium, peaking at $534.32 in May before shifting my attention to other income streams.
Those income streams included a YouTube channel and writing on Seeking Alpha, which has grown my income substantially to the point that I quit my coaching job and booked a flight to Malaysia for a 3-month training camp.
And the fact that I embarked on this 10-month trip to Southeast Asia represents the control I developed.
You can’t always control what happens to you, but you always control how you react. Things did not always go my way, but I have continued progressing toward my ambitions by staying disciplined.
