This has traditionally been a way for national climate plans to smuggle in the continued development of fossil fuel industries. Unfortunately, the energy crisis demonstrates that our energy mix and infrastructure have never quite been up to standard or task.

Cheaper and more equitable access to renewable energy should have been distributed and developed far sooner. Renewable energy is fast becoming a public good.
Access to the technologies that facilitate the capture of wind and solar energy should be inexpensive and open-source. Wind and solar power have become the standard for high-value clean energy in recent years and more so in recent months. Solar itself can revolutionise the way we think about clean living and funding clean energy infrastructure. There’s a global rush on solar energy.
