Humanoid robots are machines that use artificial intelligence in order to operate day-to-day services.
Robotics and locomotion have advanced significantly over the past few decades. You can use these human-like robots in various fields based on your needs. Different shapes and sizes of humanoid robots exist, with many in prototype state and others released for public use.
They are easily usable as digital twins due to their adaptability to the human environment.

Where They are Being Used Currently:

  1. EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS:

Have you ever witnessed a robot instructing students in an educational setting? Well, Nao and Pepper are doing this job really well in an educational setting in Paris, France.

2. HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT:

Have you ever heard about Kim? He serves snacks at a restaurant in Spain. Even some robots handle customer-related services nowadays.

3. HEALTHCARE SERVICES:

Some robots serve patients in hospitals and perform their clinical duties very well. Some famous robotss in this category consist of the da Vinci surgical robot & the Xenex germ-zapping robot.

This is a female robot that interacts with Public, expressing emotions through facial expressions and eye movements. She has her own personality and depicts her emotions well. Nadia Thalmann created it, and the Japanese company Kokoro endorsed it.

2. Jia Jia

A research team at the University of Science and Technology in China created Jia Jia.

She uses a microphone with 3D cameras and in-depth sensors to learn about her surroundings. According to Chen Xiaoping, she can definitely have a bright future after installing some more technological advancements in her system, as she already looks quite human-like.

3. Sophia

Sophia was created in 2016; she is considered one of the most efficient robots of all time, and you must have seen her on a lot of TV programmes for sure. Created and developed by Hanson Robotics in Hong Kong. Sophia is the first robot to be granted citizenship in the United States of America.

Neural networks and artificial intelligence have enabled her to comprehend human emotions and gestures. She is also capable of engaging in meaningful conversations with others and responding appropriately.
