Function: Design and Creative → UX / Visual Design
We are currently seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team. You will work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to create great products. We embrace big picture thinkers who also enjoy the finer details of day-to-day activities. If you’re the type of person who says, I have a better way to design this, we want to hear from you. If you can geek out on typefaces and colors, we want to hear from you. If you can endlessly debate on Material vs Skeuomorphic, we want to hear from you. Most importantly, if you’re willing to show up, get your hands dirty and actually create something, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding the Product requirements clearly and creating relevant information architecture, user flows, and detailed wireframes
- Creating high fidelity screen designs and prototypes around every aspect of the app interaction
- Creation of supporting artefacts to facilitate communication including presentations, UI kits, style guides, and supporting graphic assets for developers
Requirements:
- Freelance, did projects or did internship in similar role at an agency or in-house at a digital product company.
- Process Knowledge — Understanding of design thinking and its usage to identify project goals.
- UX Design — Examples that showcase your ability to solve complex problems and visually communicate your solutions through information architecture, wireframes, and prototyping.
- UI Design — Visual design utilising style guides, UI kits, and high fidelity screens especially for mobile applications
- Communication & amp; Collaboration –
- Proven experience working successfully within a collaborative environment on challenging projects.
- Tools Knowledge — Sketch or Adobe Illustrator, at least one high-fidelity prototyping Tool
- You’ve written articles or have given talks on design
- Prototyping experience on Framer.js
- You can do front-end HTML and CSS
- You’re a Graphic Designer or illustrator skilled in Photoshop
