About Suzanne Ford
San Francisco Pride's Interim Executive Director is Suzanne Ford (she/her). She is the first trans woman to hold the position in the history of San Francisco Pride and a fierce activist working toward equal rights for the trans community. She is a founding member of the SF Pride Golf Tournament, the first and only PGA-endorsed event ensuring queer visibility in one of the most cis-heteronormative spaces in the world– as well as SF Pride’s most lucrative board-led annual fundraiser to date. Suzanne has also served as president of the board of the Spahr Center in Marin County and as a board member, vice president, and treasurer of SF Pride. She is from Kentucky and got her Bachelor of Arts in history with honors from Murray State University. She then attended Howard Law School. She was a regional sales manager at Revere Packaging for over 11 years and was named by Plastic News as one of the Women Breaking the Mold in the Packaging Industry in 2017. She also works on the board at Trans Heartline. Suzanne lives in the SF Bay area with her wife, Beverly, and son, Daniel. She is available to speak to groups or employers about trans issues and her experience facing the world as a trans woman.

Shea Diamond is an American singer, songwriter, and transgender rights, activist. Her music is chiefly soul and R&B and includes elements of blues, rock, hip-hop, and folk. Her songwriting ability has been described as “demonstrating a rare gift to portray raw, dynamic emotion in a way that moves the body as much as the spirit.” Her influences include Whitney Houston and Tina Turner.

Michelle Meow, Producer & Host
Michelle Meow is the host and producer of “The Michelle Meow Show.” The program’s tagline is: “Your A-Z, covering the LGBT, LMNOP, and everyone in between.” Michelle’s mission is to construct opportunities for people to listen to deep conversations to develop understanding and empathy. She shares, “We simply don’t have enough opportunities to talk and not enough moments to listen.” Michelle’s show can be heard in San Francisco and nationally on the Progressive Voices Network, and her local TV show can be seen on KBCW TV and Channel 44.
Michelle also produces programs at the iconic Commonwealth Club, where she has also served on their Board of Governors. There, she is dedicated to conversations around social justice with an intersectional lens. She has interviewed notable thought leaders such as Olympic medalist Adam Rippon, NFL’s first out LGBTQ coach Katie Sowers, the first American woman in space, and Sally Ride’s widow, Tam O’Shaughnessy. Since 2006, Michelle has been a co-host of the San Francisco Pride Parade broadcast and was President of their Board of Directors from 2014 to 2018. She is a self-described LGBTQI+ history geek, information sponge, and lover, not a fighter.
Michelle shares, “Exchanging thoughtful dialogue can create change. We are all different, but we find similarities and hope in our differences. Exchanging thoughtful dialogue can create the change we all seek in humanity.”
