New Voices in New Roles
With the Officer elections having closed on 28 November 2023, we would like to welcome the following Pride organizers to the InterPride Board of Directors:
Co-President: Rahul Upadhyay (they/them), Gandhinagar Queer Pride Foundation, India
Treasurer: Mark Liberson (he/him), Chicago Pride Fest, USA
Vice President of Global Outreach: Nicholas Rodriguez (he/him), Pride SV — ELSALVADORG, El Salvador
Vice President of Global Outreach: Steve Taylor (he/him), Copenhagen Pride, Denmark
We congratulate them and look forward to the addition of their viewpoints and knowledge in contributing to InterPride’s global impact and with the support of our membership.
Also approved were the 2023 Plenary minutes from the General Meeting & World Conference, plus the 2024 Budget.
We also acknowledge the outgoing officers: Linda DeMarco, Marsha H. Levine, and Dave Wait, and thank them for their many contributions and years of service on the Board of Directors.
