DEADLINE EXTENDED: InterPride’s 2023 Call for Workshop Proposals!
We’ve received some EXCELLENT workshop proposals but still, have some space open!
The submission window for workshop proposals has been extended, providing Pride organizers additional time to put together their submissions.
The new deadline is February 1, 2023.
We were so excited to receive many proposal submissions over the last few weeks. Still, since we have some additional space open, we want to offer our global LGBTQIA+ community an extension to get even more!
This extension will allow more people to suggest workshops and ensure that the selection process is as inclusive and fair as possible. Additionally, this extension was made to enable more people to submit workshops. Finally, the event’s organizers wish to promote diverse ideas, including those from underrepresented groups and people who focus on novel and forward-thinking subject matters.
Workshop proposals may address a wide range of subjects, including conversion therapy/sexual orientation change efforts (SOCE), disability justice/accessibility, gender justice/trans justice, health and wellness, human rights, innovation, intersectionality, logistics & operations, marketing & communications, migration, pinkwashing, post-COVID Prides, racial justice, and youth! The proposals may also target specific groups within our Pride movement, such as autism, people with disabilities, the bisexual community, people living with HIV, people of color and indigenous people, seniors, small prides, trans and gender non-conforming, and women. The purpose of the workshops is to provide attendees the opportunity to learn from our fellow Pride organizers with others from around the world working in their respective fields and provide them with helpful knowledge and insights.
Organizations are strongly urged to exercise their imagination and think of novel approaches when pitching their workshops. The selection committee will be on the lookout for ideas that are not only well-organized but also clearly stated and that have the potential to provide participants with insightful and informative information that they can use.
