Global Concert

Generational Racism Webinar

A multigenerational discussion about systemic racism within queer spaces: the hope is that by having these discussions, we weed out divisive tactics from the larger society that occasionally filters into our smaller marginalized community. This is an effort to evolve, learn, and validate lived experiences to better prepare for advocacy and activism. Register here.

Pride Is A Protest | Closed Viewing Documentary

InterPride is proud to showcase a complimentary live documentary screening, “Pride Is A Protest.” We are joined by the creators of this documentary and will stream the film LIVE during the session. Registration is required. Two viewing opportunities are offered on Sunday, January 23, 2022:

Our voices matter and will be heard. Many of our LGBTQIA+ community members have fought for decades for the right to be seen and heard. U.S. Association of Prides announces postponement of the national conference scheduled in January. The U.S. Association of Prides (USAP) has announced it will postpone the in-person USAP National Conference originally scheduled for January 27–30, 2022, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Ghana’s parliament is considering a bill that would criminalize homosexuality and advocate for LGBTQIA+ people. The bill would also promote conversion therapy. This could result in up to 10 years in prison for LGBTQIA+ individuals. Click here to read more.

The 2022 Gay Games will be postponed until November 2023 due to COVID-19. The organizing team hopes that hosting the games in Hong Kong means becoming a “beacon of hope” for a community where intolerance is still a primary concern. Click here to read more.
