Clues I dimly perceive — by David Jones | Day Six | Keep Going Inward

I barely understand and fail to retain
these clues I dimly perceive,
yet small surprises nudge
bit by barely-noticeable bit,
as I wait still and listening;
trusting what emerges
dropping hints
from a deep and distant quiet
beyond space and mind’s reach.
This is bone deep knowing — all that appears will disappear;
don’t cherish this life too much,
witnessing as the one who remains beyond body and experiences.
