diverged
but when it came down to it
they still were two

And so
Walk them both

Walk them both everyday
Until, through practice,
they are one within you

Light and shadow
Love and fear
Poverty and wealth
Generosity and hoarding

Desire and contentedness
Peace and unrest
Self-obsession and humility

Come
Go
Pray these paths

Welcome them into your being
With compassion for yourself, listen
to them
They belong to you
as you belong
to them

Jesus said,
“When two
become one within
Any obstacles that could block your way
You just say ‘Move’
and they will do so”
